Southside is an autonomous Southern Baptist church which means we are a self-governing body. However, we have chosen to voluntarily cooperate with several organizations so more people can be reached for Jesus Christ.
On the local level, we are affiliated with the South Yadkin Baptist Association. The South Yadkin Baptist Association is a fellowship of 72 area churches in Iredell, Davie, Rowan, Yadkin, Catawba, and Lincoln Counties.
On the state level, we are affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.
On the national level, we are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
