How did you meet your spouse?
I met her through my roommate in college who introduced us at his birthday party. Sharon is a rock in our family and I’m thankful everyday to have her in my life.

Describe one of the best moments of your life.
Probably the most special memories involve the first moments I met my children face to face. They would never know it, but they captured my hearts forever in those moments. Both of our children are adopted, one from the U.S. and the other from China. The Lord puts together families in very creative ways, and we are evidence of that!

What’s your favorite thing about life in Mooresville?
I love Mooresville! The community takes you in as if you were a native son once you land here. You’re close to just about anything you would need in regards to healthcare, shopping, or other needs. Plus, they have Gail’s Country Café.

What’s your favorite thing about Southside Baptist Church?
The people at Southside are fantastic. They are very trusting of their staff and therefore partner with us in accomplishing God’s will here in Mooresville. The people truly strive to be fervent followers of Jesus Christ, and all who meet them find love and acceptance.
