MESSAGE FROM PASTOR CHRIS & FAMILY
I’d like to take a moment to personally thank the church for your prayers concerning our China adoption process. As most of you know, we have been matched with a little girl in China after about a three year wait, and will be traveling soon to pick her up and bring her back to be part of our home and church family. Her name is Wu Jin Jun, soon to be Virginia Grace Bridges. She is a three-year old little girl that had some health challenges early on in her life because she was born premature, but has a hopeful future. Special thanks go to many of you who have contributed financially to help with our travel and adoption expenses. We continue to firm up details of our travel plans, but are scheduled to be gone about fifteen days, and are appreciative of the flexibility of the church in allowing us this time to bring our daughter home. We are equally thankful that Doug Henderson, Randy Hart, and others will be stepping in during our weeks away. Our goal is to update our family blog website periodically while we are away so that you all can follow along in the process of our adoption. Feel free to visit this site at http://bridgesfamilynet.blogspot.com/ and continue to cover us with your prayers.
